OneDrive Security Alert: Personal Account Sign-In Enabled by Default

We’ve noticed a growing number of cases where users are unknowingly signed into personal OneDrive accounts on work devices. This can lead to data leakage, compliance risks, and confusion over file ownership.

🔧 How to Fix It:

  1. Open OneDrive settings.
  2. Under the “Account” tab, check for any personal accounts.
  3. If found, select the personal account and click “Unlink this PC.”
  4. Ensure only your work account remains connected.

💡 Pro Tip: IT admins can enforce policies to block personal account sign-ins via Microsoft 365 admin settings.
