Disking has been a trusted name in IT solutions since 1979. From our early days selling floppy disks to becoming a leading Managed Security & Service Provider, we have continuously evolved to meet the needs of our customers. We offer comprehensive IT services, including technical support, Microsoft 365 management, cyber security, and more. Disking International Limited has a rich history dating back to 1979. Initially, we made our mark by selling floppy disks to prominent UK retailers such as WHSmith and John Lewis Partners. By 1989, we expanded our reach to the US market, setting up distribution channels. However, the early 1990s recession in the US led us to withdraw from that market. Undeterred, we continued to innovate, distributing floppy disks under our own brands, “Professional” & “Banana” floppy disks.
As the floppy disk era came to a close, we adapted by offering a range of computer hardware and software, including the then cutting-edge Microsoft 95 and bespoke computers featuring fast processors like the Intel Pentium II, AMD K6, and Cyrix 6×86.
Our growth continued with the establishment of eight retail stores across three counties in southern England. These stores became integral parts of their communities, providing essential IT support and services to local residents and businesses.
The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the retail landscape, leading to a shift away from in-store sales and accelerating changes in consumer behavior. In response, Disking evolved once again, transforming into a Managed Security & Service Provider (MSSP) in 2020. This strategic shift allowed us to continue serving our customers effectively, offering comprehensive IT solutions, including:

We have supported the Haslemere Rotary Club by providing hundreds of free high-specification computers to local schools and students who were unable to obtain computers. Additionally, we offer discounted machines to local educational institutions such as Godalming College and many others. Our journey is a testament to our resilience and dedication to staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving IT landscape.
