Complete Microsoft 365 Management for SMEs

Most businesses only use a fraction of what their Microsoft 365 licences include, and many are paying for the wrong plan entirely. Since 1987 we’ve helped organisations across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex get their technology right, and Microsoft 365 is no different.

We review what you’re paying now, match every user to the right plan, and manage the whole environment for you: licensing, security configuration, user changes, backup and day to day support. Whether you’re moving from an old email server, switching from Google Workspace, or tidying up a tenant that’s grown messy over the years, we make Microsoft 365 work the way it should.

Why Choose Disking IT for Microsoft 365?

We’ve been looking after business technology since 1987, long before the cloud existed, and we’re still 100% independently owned. That means our advice on licensing and plans is driven by what’s right for your business, not by targets set by a private equity owner.

Free Microsoft 365 Readiness & Licensing Audit

Whether you’re already on Microsoft 365, or looking to make the move, we offer a free readiness & licensing audit, with no obligation.

The audit is free, takes less than an hour of your time, and the report is yours to keep whatever you decide to do next. No catch: we’re confident that once you’ve seen the difference proper Microsoft 365 management makes, you’ll want to talk.

Microsoft 365 for Business FAQ's

Read some of our frequently asked questions on our Microsoft 365 solutions.

Microsoft 365 for business is a subscription that combines Office apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint with business email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive cloud storage. You pay per user, per month, and everyone always has the latest versions across desktop, web and mobile.

Business Basic suits teams who work in a browser, Business Standard adds the full desktop Office apps and fits most SMEs, and Business Premium adds advanced security and device management. Many businesses run a mix of plans across different roles, which is often the most cost effective approach. We'll review your users and recommend the right combination.

Microsoft prices its business plans per user, per month on an annual commitment, and UK pricing changed on 1 July 2026. Because rates vary by plan and commitment term, we quote current pricing transparently as part of a free licensing review, and we'll often find savings by matching each user to the right plan rather than licensing everyone identically.

Yes. We regularly migrate businesses from Google Workspace, on premises Exchange servers, POP/IMAP email hosts and shared GoDaddy tenants. Mail, calendars, contacts and files are moved across with cutover planned outside business hours, so your team arrives to a working system.

Not in the way most people assume. Microsoft operates a shared responsibility model: it keeps the service running, but long term protection of your data is your responsibility. Deleted emails and files are only recoverable for a limited period. That's why we include independent Microsoft 365 backup covering email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams in our Standard and Business support tiers.

The platform itself is highly secure, but most breaches happen because tenants are left on default settings. We harden every environment we manage with multi factor authentication, conditional access, anti phishing policies and device controls, and Business Premium unlocks advanced protection through Defender for Office 365 and Intune.

Yes. As a Microsoft partner we procure licences on your behalf, adjust them as staff join and leave, and roll everything into one monthly invoice alongside your IT support. No separate Microsoft billing to manage, and no paying for licences nobody uses.

It can. Teams Phone adds full business telephony to Microsoft 365, so calls, meetings and chat all live in one place. We design and manage Teams calling solutions as part of our telecoms services, including number porting and call routing.

Copilot is an optional AI add on that works across Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. It can save real time on drafting, summarising and analysis, but it needs your data permissions in good order first. We offer Copilot readiness assessments so you know whether the licence cost will pay for itself before you commit.

Microsoft supports the platform, not your business. Day to day user problems, security configuration, backup, device management and strategic advice all sit outside what your subscription includes. Pairing Microsoft 365 with a managed IT service means someone is accountable for the whole environment, from £25 per user and device per month.
